There were complications you can say but now he's been very distant from women. A lil disturbed from his past it's difficult for him to trust and date women again. I think he's dislining women now. It's true that it is just a phase of life. Divorce impacts the couple badly. But time heals all the wounds slowly. A good loving and caring environment will help him heal faster. Tell your friend motivating words, encourage him to pursue the things of his interests. If possible meditation is the best remedy that calms the negative thoughts floating in the mind and brain. And he's lucky to have have a caring friend like you

I think it's because of the ancient stereotypical thinking that after divorce women are not able to take care of themselves and as she is getting divorced she would require some money to sustain. However this is not at all truee. This is a big misconception about women.

I think both male and female can be unhappy in marriage. Why they say girls/females because when they are at home alone, they might think about so much of insecurities in life. In this cycle of imagination they can think of any worst case. But nowadays girls have so much to do they don't think much about husband, family issues etc. Now if the male sees a successful smart female partner he is either jealous or insecure. On the other hand if the female partner is simple he might compare her with other female colleagues. Thus became insecure in his Married life.

my husband cheated on me with my own sister. now he is asking me to sign a divorce mutually and doesn't wanna give me any dues only promising to child care as my son is disable. we are still under the same roof and he is planning to move out.But every day is a new fight as he is constantly talking shit about me verbally abusing me and my son. it's a lot of verbal violence at home whenever he is at home. I am really worried about my son as he is physically disabled and has autism too plus he is getting seizures due to all the stress. no one's family is getting involved as it was a love marriage. I am really lost and no mental strength left.

this is truly a very difficult position to be in, firstly to feel cheated and secondly to not get what are you entitled too, also as a mother your concern about your son is valid, I firstly would suggest to keep legal framework on priority, there are many women based ngos and law firms that does help with this, seeking help from a friend who might have knowledge about legal issues will also be beneficial, secondly you should try also sharing how you feel mentally to a trusted friend/or mental health professional and also take care of yourself then only you would be sble to fight legal laities and take care of son, but you are strong women, am sure you will figure this out and get through this but do stand for what you deserve and don’t feel coward by your husband forced actions

It’s been 19 years of my marriage and now out of it - maine apni 19 saal ki zindagi ka kya kiya. Aaj when I have just got my freedom , coming out of the court , I feel I have just woken up from a long sleep. What the heck man , it feels I have forgotten who I Actually was, but you know what - to hell with this ! I am now on this lone journey, to collect myself and stand tall before the world once again. I feel awake and happy . I already have my bucket list ready with stuff I want to do. I want to go solo traveling , want to live my life once again like a phoenix rising from the sea.
