UNDP'nin yayınladığı 2023-2024 İnsani Gelişme Raporu'na göre Türkiye, 193 ülke arasında 45. sırada yer alarak "çok yüksek insani gelişme" kategorisinde dördüncü kez üst üste yer aldı. Ancak, rapor eşitsizliklerin derinleştiğini gösteriyor; pandeminin etkilerinin dünya genelindeki yoksul ülkeler için geri dönüşü zor olduğunu vurguluyor. Türkiye, 1990'dan bu yana İnsani Gelişme Endeksi'nde belirgin bir iyileşme kaydetti, ancak toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizlikleri hesaba katıldığında sıralaması geriliyor, erkekler genellikle kadınlardan daha yüksek insani gelişme seviyelerine sahip. #UNDP #HumanDevelopmentIndex

Bildiğiniz üzere Almanya’da 45 şirket 1 Şubat itibariyle haftalık çalışma süresini 5 günden 4 güne indiren bir çalışma politikasına geçti. Bu durumun çalışma motivasyonu olarak pozitif etkide bulunması öngörülüyor. Gelişmemiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerle karşılaştırıldığında daha az işçi gücüyle insanlar çok daha rahat ve yüksek refah düzeyi içinde yaşıyorlar. Gelişmemiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkeler de ise haksızlıklarla dolu yüksek çalışma gücünün karşılığı ise neredeyse bir hiç. Bu durum ülkeler bazında hem mutsuzluğu hem de finansal özgürlüğün ciddi manada kısıtlanmasına yol açıyor.

Jordan Belfort, filmde Leonardo DiCaprio tarafından canlandırılıyor. Belfort, düşük değerli hisse senetlerini agresif bir şekilde satma ve yatırımcılara yüksek komisyonlarla dolandırıcılık yapma konusundaki yetenekleriyle tanınan bir finansçıdır. Film, Belfort'un hızla zenginleşmesini, ahlaki çöküntüsünü ve sonunda federal yetkililerle karşılaşmasını anlatarak Wall Street'teki çürük kültürü eleştiriyor. Aynı zamanda aşırı lüks yaşam tarzını ve uyuşturucu kullanımını da gözler önüne seriyor.
