In various scenarios, I notice a lack of confidence creeping in, sometimes altering my tone and affecting my body language. Especially in college, where confidence seems abundant among peers, I feel the need to bridge that gap. I strongly believe that our thoughts shape our confidence levels, and as women, societal conditioning often leads us to doubt our capabilities or question our worth, even when we excel. How did you embrace this mindset? What specific strategies or tips did you incorporate to overcome self-doubt and bolster your confidence?
Self confidence and self esteem are like siblings. My dear just learn to be arrogant and give people a spoon of their own medicine. Sometimes they need it!

hello, I've somatic disorder from a trauma now I keep gaining weight even after stopping all medications that might caused this. I don't eat a lot I eat normal. what shall I do as I feel like going insane?
Hi! Hope you are doing well. I am sorry that you are going through this and I understand that it can be frustrating. As a therapist, I can tell you that whatever you are feeling is valid and this is a safe space 🩵 Try some activities to ground yourself. Try walking barefoot on the grass, holding ice cubes in your hand, mandala art while listening to some music, etc. whenever you find yourself getting anxious. Stick some affirmation notes around your mirror so that you can look at them every morning and feel better about yourself. Lastly, you should definitely start therapy. I think a therapist will definitely be able to help you navigate your trauma and ensure you remain grounded 🩵
