As a young dreamer, I envisioned myself in a white coat, saving lives as a medical doctor. But fate had a different plan, leading me on a journey to become a financial doctor—a title lovingly bestowed upon me by one of my doctor clients. My journey began with a costly lesson—a yellow hair dryer, a gift from an investment scheme that left my early savings in ruins.This experience, coupled with my dad's loss of retirement funds in the same Ponzi scheme, ignited a fire within me to understand the intricacies of money. Starting my career in insurance, I soon realized that financial well-being required more than just risk management. I pursued further education, completing my Fellowship in Life Insurance & later becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Through dedication & continuous learning, I was able to save enough to fund my own education & marriage expenses, relieving the burden on my parents. As I delved deeper into financial planning, I expanded my skills by becoming a certified image consultant. Balancing work and study on weekends, I mentored celebrities & high-net-worth clients on managing their investments through goal-based financial planning. Observing women, including my mom & clients, taking a back seat in financial matters inspired me to make empowering women a mission in my career. I also took it upon myself to train young adults on starting early with their finances, bridging the gap left by traditional curricula. Furthermore, I found immense satisfaction in training financial entrepreneurs, including advisors & mutual fund distributors. Through coaching on personal branding, referral marketing, & finding their niche, I helped them upskill & take their businesses to the next level.
