Bonnie Garmus Author of Lessons in Chemistry talks about how women are held back. She specifically focuses on career. Bonnie also shared her personal experience in the video as she and her sisters were subjected to limited career options in their life. Author believes that women are always held back in everything even if it for their career. Even If they are given an opportunity to do something in their career then they don't have much options to choose from, to aspire what they want to be. Just few limited options are available for them. Do you agree with the Author? What are your views about the video ? Did your family ever express reluctance when you were selecting a career or profession? Share your stories.
Gender biases and societal expectations often hinder women's advancement in their careers, perpetuating inequality. Despite their qualifications and abilities, women face systemic barriers such as unequal pay, limited opportunities for advancement, and biases in hiring and promotion processes. Addressing these issues requires systemic change and proactive efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive workplace environment.

Identifying and understanding learning disabilities is crucial for children's academic success and overall well-being. Rather than dismissing struggles as careless mistakes, recognizing the signs of a learning disability allows for early intervention and tailored support. By pinpointing specific challenges in areas such as reading, writing, or math, educators and parents can implement targeted strategies to help children overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Embracing a proactive approach to addressing learning disabilities fosters a supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive academically and build confidence in their abilities.
Every child is different and has there unique qualities and disabilities as well. We need to recognize them.

Stigma surrounding mental health creates a significant barrier by discouraging individuals from seeking help due to fear of judgment or discrimination. Additionally, limited access to affordable mental health services, as well as a shortage of qualified professionals, further exacerbate the challenge of obtaining adequate care. Addressing stigma and increasing access to affordable mental health resources are essential steps in breaking down these barriers and ensuring that everyone can access the support they need for their mental well-being. #talktosomeonetalktoangel #letstalk #letstalkaboutmentalhealth #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #letsshare

Hormonal imbalance can significantly impact women's mental health. Fluctuations in hormones, such as estrogen, progesterone, and cortisol, can affect neurotransmitter activity in the brain, leading to mood swings, irritability, anxiety, or depression. Conditions like premenstrual syndrome (PMS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), perimenopause, or postpartum depression are often linked to hormonal fluctuations during specific stages of a woman's reproductive life. Additionally, hormonal imbalances can exacerbate underlying mental health conditions or contribute to the development of new symptoms. Addressing hormonal imbalances through lifestyle modifications, hormone therapy, or other medical interventions can play a crucial role in managing mental health symptoms and promoting overall well-being for women. #womenempoweringwomen #womenmentalhealth #mentalhealth #letstalk #letstalkaboutmentalhealth #talktosomeonetalktoangel
Hormonal imbalances can have a profound impact on mental health. Hormones play a crucial role in regulating mood, emotions, and cognition, and when their levels are disrupted, it can lead to significant mental health challenges. For instance, fluctuations in hormone levels during the menstrual cycle can contribute to mood swings, irritability, and increased vulnerability to stress. Hormonal imbalances can also be associated with depressive symptoms and anxiety disorders, as hormones like serotonin, which are involved in mood regulation, may be affected. Sleep disturbances, cognitive changes, and difficulties coping with stress are also commonly observed when hormone levels are imbalanced. While hormonal imbalances are not the sole cause of mental health disorders, they can contribute significantly to their development and exacerbation.
